She sighed into her coffee, as if she knew you were going to ask.

“When I signed up for that modelling gig, I really thought my picture was going to be used for stock photos. You know, 'white woman laughing alone eating salad,' that kind of thing. The use of my image by the Cult of the Hidden Lady…was not in the contract.”

Hello, fronds. It’s been quite a while. Okay, a really effing long time. A year. But hello, because I am (at least for now) RETURNED. I know the grammar there was wrong.
